Fave Photo Of The Week
This past Saturday, the one-and-only Edward Sorel asked a few people over to his home to raise a glass, and toast the great New Yorker artist, Edward Koren, who passed away in April. Mr. Sorel and Mr. Koren’s friendship spanned more than six decades. Also in attendance was Mr. Koren’s daughter, Sasha Koren, and two long-time friends of Mr. Koren’s: The New Yorker writers, Calvin “Bud” Trillin (who first met Mr. Koren in the late 1950s during their days in the service), and Mark Singer (who first met Mr. Koren at The New Yorker in 1974).
