Latest Cartoon Pad Guest: Victoria Roberts

Victoria Roberts is the guest on the brand new episode of The Cartoon Pad, a blog featuring New Yorker cartoonists Bob Eckstein and Michael Shaw.

Ms. Roberts began contributing to The New Yorker in 1988.

Ms. Roberts gets New Yorker cartoonist-centric about three-quarters of the way through the interview, with mentions of New Yorker cartoonists such as Ed Fisher, Gahan Wilson, Dana Fradon, Sam Gross, and Arnie Levin.

Mr. Eckstein began contributing to The New Yorker  in 2007; Mr. Shaw in 1999.

Where can you find a number of New Yorker artists in a publication other than The New Yorker? Look no further (farther?) than The American Bystander. Issue #19 (with a cover by Ron Barrett), available now, features such New Yorker folks as Sam Gross, Mick Stevens, Ken Krimstein, Bob Eckstein, Peter Kuper, John Cuneo, Tom Chitty, Ellis Rosen, Roz Chast, and P.S. Mueller.
