Attempted Bloggery On An Auctioned Arno

Read it here.

Catching Up With…A New Yorker State Of Mind: Reading Every Issue Of the New Yorker

As long as we’re time traveling, this is as good a time as any to  check in with another Spill favorite site. This week the focus is on the issue of October 28, 1933, shown to the left. Cover art by the one-and-only Rea Irvin. There is much to read and see and enjoy by  linking here.

Exhibit Of Interest: The Society Of Illustrators “Cartoons And Comic Works From Our Permanent Collection”

A recent Facebook post by J.J. Sedelmaier alerted me to an exhibit at the fab Society Of Illustrators that includes (by the look of Mr. Sedelmaier’s photos) a healthy dose of New Yorker folks (including Addams, Donnelly, Steinberg, Vey, Steig, and Wortman).  More info here.
