Slouching Towards Organization
It’s been fun for the above mentioned Liza Donnelly and this cartoonist to finally organize a corner in the Spill archives for original art. The dream has been to know exactly what we have in the archive and be able to get to it without a lot of head scratching. By devoting a corner of one room to original work (framed and unframed) we’ve at least moved slightly closer to where we want things to be.
When I took the above cartoon library photo some years back, space was already an issue. The good news is that the books are in some order (arranged by cartoonist). Without consulting a crystal ball, I’m positive there’s more shelf-building in the (in my) future.
