Latest Cartoon Caption Contest Pod

It’s always fun to hear The Cartoon Caption Contest Podcast hosts Beth Lawler, Paul Nesja, and Vin Coca talk about The New Yorker‘s Caption contest cartoons and toss around ideas about captioning. Their latest guest (Episode #90) is a non-cartoonist, Nicole Chrolavicius, who is, according to the CCCP’s description, “the most winningest finalist of 2021 and 2022 for The New Yorker Caption Contest.”

Not that I’m keeping track, but I feel as if this “Vintage Chivas Regal Glass Jar — Ice Bucket With New Yorker Style Cartoons…”  has been listed on Ebay as long as there’s been an Ebay. The “New Yorker style” cartoons on the ice bucket include drawings by James Stevenson and Charles Saxon.
