The New Yorker Festival’s Some Very Funny Ladies Panel 

Yesterday’s Some Very Funny Ladies virtual panel was the cartoon event of the festival. Emma Allen, the magazine’s cartoon editor moderated a discussion with cartoonists Amy Hwang, Liana Finck, Roz Chast and Liza Donnelly (Ms. Donnelly’s forthcoming book, Very Funny Ladies was the impetus for the panel). 

Let’s hope that the one hour event will made made available to the public in the days ahead.

The National Cartoonists Society Festival Promo Video

The NCS has posted a fun promotional video for its upcoming festival. It vaguely reminds me of the opening credits for SNL.  At least two New Yorker folks are shown (guess who they are!). You can see the video here.
