Women Laughing NYC Premiere
Liza Donnelly’s documentary film, Women Laughing, about women cartoonists of The New Yorker, past and present, had its New York City premiere yesterday at the DOC NYC festival. The film was screened at the IFC Center located in the heart of Greenwich Village. A number of New Yorker cartoonists were on hand to celebrate both at the theater and the after-party hosted by The Algonquin Hotel.
Cartoonists seen either at the theater and/or the post-screening party: Liza Donnelly, Liana Finck, Anne Fizzard, Emily Flake, Lynn Hsu, Yinfan Huang, Amy Hwang, Maggie Larson, Michael Maslin, Elisabeth McNair, Ali Solomon, Bishakh Som, Sofia Warren. Here are a few photos from the evening.
