A 64 Year Old Arnold Roth LP Cover; Today’s Daily Cartoonist & Cartoon

I took a moment this morning to dig through a stack of long-neglected vinyl albums. The above 1956 Dave Brubeck Trio album was just a few lps below some classical albums. The cover is by the great Arnold Roth, an artist with an abundance of tools in his artist’s toolbox (remember his covers for John Updike’s Bech books?  A bonus when I slipped the record itself out of the sleeve: it’s red translucent!
