The Monday Tilley Watch Takes A Glancing Look At Some Of The Art & Artists In The Latest Issue Of The New Yorker
The Cover: the coming back theme continues. Last week’s cover was also New York City-centric; the little old lady in Dubuque* has surely noted that seven out of the last nine New Yorker covers have been NYC-centric.

Fifteen cartoons, sixteen cartoonists (Peter Kuper has a cicada-centric Sketchbook…it’s on page 21). No newbies, no duos (that we know of). Delighted to say that the majority of the fifteen cartoons caught my eye this week. With so many to choose from, it becomes a mention all (while leaving out just a few) situation, so all-around applause is in order.
