Addams Among The Holiday Stationery

Late yesterday afternoon, I was walking, somewhat in a holiday shopping daze, through our local bookstore when my eyes caught a familiar site among a ton of boxes of stationery spread out on a large table: a Charles Addams drawing. Not quite a needle in a haystack moment, but close.

I Googled “Charles Addams Lurch Tree Stationery” and was taken to this site which also sells another Addams box of stationery (I have zero connection to the site and the company and am only noting it because I do sometimes enjoy cartoon product):

The spectacular snowman in the building appeared on the cover of The New Yorker January 21, 1985:
