Exhibit Of Interest…Edward Koren’s “See Anyone You Know?”
It’s kind of nice, on this last day of the year, that the below came in today’s mail. A good way to wrap up the year, thinking about one of The New Yorker‘s kindest and greatest artists.

I saw this exhibit last weekend and highly recommend it to all who live in or visit Columbus, Ohio. There is a full range of Koren’s work, including his first New Yorker drawing from 1962, displayed with several early versions and suggestions from then cartoon editor James M. Geraghty. Koren did his final drawings in a larger format, and many of those are on display, as are some wonderful full color cover drawings. Great curation of what seems like a rare show for the Billy Ireland Museum, because it is single panel work.
Indeed, it is rich!
