Early Cover Release:

As happens every so often, The New Yorker has decided to show us next week’s cover a few days early. Normally the cover, along with the rest of the magazine, is revealed on Monday mornings at approximately 6 a.m.. This being the second week of a double issue, I sense there’s an itchiness to get caught up (a number of articles from next week’s issue have already been posted online). This cover is the fifth of the year for Barry Blitt.
