Campbell’s Exhibit “Today: 10 Years Of Cartooning” Opens Tomorrow
Glad to see the new year begin with a cartoon exhibit. Hilary Campbell‘s been contributing to The New Yorker since the Fall of 2017.

Latest Addition To The Spill Library: Spiegelman’s “Breakdowns”
Here’s a book I’m looking forward to diving into. It’s a title I’ve been curious about for a long long time. News of its recent re-issue along with the “500 Pound Mouse” New York Times piece on Art Spiegelman finally caused me to hit the “Buy Now” button (Mr. Spiegelman, a cartoonist, contributed a number of covers to The New Yorker).
Breakdowns isn’t a thick book, but it is a big book: 10 1/4″ x 14 1/4″ — luckily there’s already a big book shelf in the library. Breakdowns will sit well right next to In The Shadow Of No Towers.
(The copy that arrived here is the 2008 Viking/Penguin reissue, not the original issue nor the latest reissue).
