An “Anniversary Box”
It’s not often I Spill New Yorker product, but this ad for an “Anniversary Box” offered by the Nelson Line* caught my eye this morning. I’m a sucker for Eustace Tilley objects (if they’re done in a certain way). The box qualifies as such. It looks to be a replica of Rea Irvin’s classic New Yorker debut issue.
I wish there was a bit more information about this box. I think we’re to assume it holds the cards. What’s it made of? (cardboard, likely). If anyone out there buys one, please forward photos and further info. You can see the Nelson Line site here.
