First & Last…Brian Savage
Brian Savage, who I’ve always thought of as a Playboy cartoonist (because he was very much a regular there) had 27 cartoons in The New Yorker. Biographical material about him seems to have slipped through the cracks on the internet. I can find nothing about him (other than Ink Spill’s entry stating he was born February 5, 1931, in Cambridge, Massachusetts). [Information is always welcome]. He published several collections of his Playboy cartoons, including So This Is Love (1972).
