Book Of Interest…The Algonquin Round Table: 25 Years with The Legends Who Lunch

My cartoonist colleague, Bob Eckstein brought an episode of Gil Roth’s Virtual Memories Show podcast to my attention this morning (thanks Bob!).

Mr. Roth has interviewed Mirana Comstock, who edited (her grandfather) Konrad Bercovici’s The Algonquin Round Table: 25 Years With The Legends Who Lunch — a title admittedly previously unknown to me.

Hear Mr. Roth’s interview with  Mirana Comstock’s here.

While you’re on the Virtual Memories site, be sure to check out the truly fab list of cartoonists Mr. Roth has interviewed over the years. More info on the Algonquin Round Table book.

  1. What a coincidence — I am currently reading “The Collected Stories of Dorothy Parker”, who has got to be the only woman represented at the table on the cover of this book.
