This fascinating video on YouTube: “Saul Steinberg Talks (1967)”
wherein Steinberg, clad for most of the 26 minute interview in madras shorts and polo shirt, talks about art and artists (“Most artists are runaways”), cats (“The cat is known to be anti-social”), and dogs and life (“There is no moment when one is alone”). He draws and makes a few masks, including one for his nose (“The nose tells too much”).
