When I read about people poking fun at New Yorker cartoons and captions like The Monkeys You Ordered, I always think of the Seinfeld episode where Elaine visits the New Yorker to try to find out the meaning of a cartoon that was in the New Yorker.
Funny episode but Paul Benedict and Bob Mankoff have different hair.
I think NY’er cartoonist Bruce Eric Kaplan (BEK) was a writer on that episode? Have to check that fact.
