Tom Bloom, a very good friend of this site, has just this morning sent along scans of his Susanne Suba illustrated book collection.
Until Mr. Bloom’s scans arrived, I had thought that Ms. Suba, a long-time New Yorker contributor, had but one charming book to her credit (one charming little book: 4″ x 5″): Spots by Suba; From The New Yorker (E.P. Dutton and Co.,1944).
Back in February of 2012, we noted Ms. Suba’s passing at the age of 99. I’m pleased her work has made a curtain call here today.
