Weekend Spill: 9/11

George Booth’s drawing that appeared in the first post 9/11 issue of The New Yorker (dated September 24, 2001). It was the only cartoon in that issue. 

*The only issue of The New Yorker published without cartoons was the issue of August 31, 1946. That issue contained John Hersey’s “Hiroshima” in its entirety.
