Every so often it’s good to take stock, or, in this case, to lay the stock out on the floor and take a look at it. Below, in no particular order, are most, but not all, of the Thurber paperbacks in the Spill library (I just realized I left out two paperback editions of The Last Flower, and I mistakenly included The American Woman — a book featuring a Thurber drawing on the cover but no Thurber within. Still, a nice looking cover drawing).

Book Event Of Interest This Evening: At Wit’s End: Cartoonists Of The New Yorker
Come help photographer, Alen MacWeeney and yours truly celebrate the publication of At Wit’s End this evening at Rizzoli’s, from 6-8.
Alen and I, along with photographer, Charles Traub (he’s Chair of the School of Visual Arts MFA Photography and Related Media Department), will be in conversation, followed by a Q&A, and book signing.
I hear there’ll be some New Yorker cartoonists attending. What fun!
