I happened to drag out the below box of filed New Yorker-centric material this morning, and got no further than the first folder (1979) when I found a few saved pages of a Cartoonist Guild newsletter (the CG was, in George Booth’s words, a “professional organization” — it was, among other things, dedicated to protecting cartoonists rights).
Was very pleased I’d long ago filed away the newsletter pages containing Krystyna Edmondson’s interview with Edward Koren. It was good revisiting this piece today, just a few days away from the first anniversary of Ed’s passing.
