A Note:  The Center for Cartoon Studies is fast becoming the Northeast's mecca for cartoon studies.  Located in White River Junction, Vermont,  the center offers a wide range of programs and events related to the cartoon in all its forms, as well the impressive  holdings of  The Schulz Library.  Liza Donnelly and I were at the CCS this week as participants  in their visiting speaker series -- we had a blast.    The town itself practically breathes cartoons.  Their website: cartoonstudies.org/
